Dr. John W. Milgram
Dr. Milgram received both his undergraduate and graduate dental education from Northwestern University. He graduated valedictorian of his dental school class in 1999. In dental school he was elected to Omnicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society. He received the Donna Olson Childrens' Clinic award for his dedication to volunteer dental work for underprivileged kids in Chicago. And, he was elected to the Alpha Omega fraternity for having the highest academic standing in his dental school class.
After dental school Dr. Milgram continued to show his dedication to the community by working on homeless adults in his practice. For his years of volunteering, he was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award in 2001 from the Evanston based Center for Public Ministries Shelter for Homeless Adults.
Dr. Milgram is also a very active member of the American Dental Association. In 2003 the ADA awarded Dr. Milgram the ADA's Presidential Citation for his dedication to the profession of dentistry. This was for his work in helping patients receive better benefits from their dental insurance company.
Currently, Dr. Milgram is focusing his attention on being the best family dentist in Naperville, servicing patients from two and a half years old and beyond. Dr. Milgram provides more services in-office than many of his colleagues, performing many of the root canal therapies, implants, orthodontics and tooth removals himself. This means patients need to see outside specialists less often. Also because Dr. Milgram lives 10 minutes away from the practice with his four year old son, Jackson, he is often available for serious emergencies.
Dr. John Milgram tries to enjoy life to the fullest! He loves swimming with his son at Lifetime Fitness and going out to dinner in both downtown Naperville and downtown Chicago. Don't be surprised to talk more about your favorite restaurants and movies than teeth. He also enjoys traveling, hiking the southwest desert, photography, and has recently become certified in scuba diving. Dr. Milgram knows that many people are very anxious about having dental work done and he strives to find ways to make your visits as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
