Dental Anxiety
Unfortunately fear keeps many people from going to the dentist. Let our office know if you have a high degree of dental axienty. We can use prescibion drugs to add in your treatment. One tablet before bed and one the morning before dental procedures is ussually all it takes.
We ask that a person other then the patient drives the patient to the dental office if antianxiety are taken.
Dr. Milgram has extensive experience in the area of pain management. In 1999 he even spoke at the the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Dental Meeting on the management of pain after root canal therapy. Topical numbing gels are always used before injections to lessen the pinch from the shots. Oral medicines can help control anxiety before appointments. And finally many teeth with first time cavities don't need anethetic shots. Enamel is like hair and doesn't hurt to trim.
